New AV Manager from Texas

This is new for me. I am currently working at an art museum as its Technical Director and A/V Manager in Texas. My background is in art, but I have been a roadie and sound, video engineer for several years. I am also currently working on my Master's degree in Art as well as curatorial studies. So, a big hello from Texas.

Excellent to have you here. I'm sure we will be able to find just what you need. Not only that, but I'm sure that your experience will help our members as well. Your background in art may prove to be an invaluable resource to some of our lighting designers.

I, too, worked in museums (natural history) for a while. They found my anthropology degree and my theater background most valuable.
