So what do yall think of an 80k watt strobe. :D

The bad beast does not thermal and can run continuous. Friend of mine demoed inside of course. He was in bed for 2 days with a towel over his eyes and a killer headache. Cant wait till they are released.

Next big show big guns spec sheet

6 4k search lights (my favorite, gotta love the 13 flash a sec strobe)
4 24k fresnels used as crowd bangers
4 80k strobes
30 of our clay paky 1200watt washes
And hopefully we will have plenty of the stage zooms in by then so i have 1.2k hard edges, yet picking up some coemar 4k nats have come to mind :D.

After i figure out how much my power draw will be.....

This is the point someone should have ask... We CAN make an 80k strobe but do we really NEED an 80k strobe? That's impressive.

Dudes/dude-ettes:
Hate to break it to you, but a Mouse-centric theme park in So Cal has one of these and theirs is 85k. You can search it on YouTube methinks (NOT that Florida "Wishes" jive..."Remember" is the Cali show).
and just for fun, look at Bert and Ernie going METAL!!!

I've heard about ones in the film worl topping 100k, they need three phase to run. I was told you set them up on the other side of a hill to simmulate lighting in outdoor shots.
