Obey 40 and strobe control

I have been looking at the Obey 40 controller to learn DMX but I also what an easy way to trigger a strobe or 3.
I see the Obey has an 1/4`jack output but no info as to what strobes it will control. Is it a mono jack? does it give a 10v signal.??
I would like to know if it will work with ADL snap shot led strobe.

I wonder if anyone has found how to strobe fixtures using the Obey 40.
The Obey 4 has a strobe button that will do this providing the fixtures have this capability.
The Obey 40 strobe button is only for an external strobe using 1/4 inch plugs.
How can i do this.

That jack only works certain strobes built by Chauvet. The practical answer is to use DMX strobes and set up a "Strobe Scene" on the board.

Same thing with the "fog" connector they put on some boards.

I have found that the obey 40 controller will indeed send a 10v signal to a strobe that has a 1/4 jack and uses that voltage to trigger. Works fine.
