hi guys
i got home a chauvet obey 40

trying to put all thos light in my board
i got all the correct dmx adress (its not working)

chauvet mini strip are 4 channel dmx
led fx 33 can be a 3 - 5 - 8 - 14 - 24 - 26 channel mode

does someone allready had this kind of light and problem like i do

thanks for your help!!!!

Addressing is the first issue. Chauvet groups channels as "fixtures." Fixture number one starts at DMX 1 address, Number two starts at DMX 17, Fixture number three starts at DMX 33, and so on.
So, if you want to have your mini strips work together, set both their addresses at 001. If you want them to work separately, set the first one to 001 and the second to 017.
Set your Fx 33 to be in 14 channel mode and set it's address to 033. Now it is on the fixture 3 button.

Power the board up and take it out of the blackout mode. Now, push the fixture 1 and two buttons so that the LED's next to them are lit. You should be able to control these with the first four faders.

Fixture 3 is now you FX 33 and will use all 8 faders plus 6 more faders on page "B"

Hope this gets you started!

is it normal that the 1st fader on the strip make them go like crazy
im not able to control each color
i only got the first slider work with the strip

for the fx 33 i got total control of it

im all lost!!!!!!

You have to make sure the color strips are in the right mode. (There are 4 modes) You want the "RGB dimming mode"
You also want to make sure they are in DMX mode and NOT master/slave mode.

See pages 5 and 10
http://www.chauvetlighting.com/products/manuals/COLORstrip_-Mini_Rev03c_UM.pdf

NOTE: I believe they messed up their own picture on page 11. all looping should be through DMX in/out.

Looks like Chn #1 should be set to 215, then Chns 2,3, and 4 are your RGB
