A much earlier Kliegl Bros. version of the Strand patt 252

stage lighting effects projector.

Can you make out what the yellow stencil says in photo IMG_4344 ? "INFERNO SPECULAR"? Is "Kliegl Bros." embossed above that? A Kliegl hell machine, then, obvs.

But the first one... is there another shot of the backside of it? Looks kind of like a Carbon Arc Strobe. The other, as Derek has shown, is really just the original version of a Great American Scene Machine

Definitely has KLIEGL BROS stamped on it.

Old post but a filament 2Kw fixture of unknown brand - two known of in exsisting, but were to replace carbon arc special effects fixtures. Thought on the age of them - somewhere in the 1950's.
