Paper Tech is a meeting, typically between the Lighting, Sound and Scenic Designers and the Stage Manager and or ASM and often the Technical Director and the Productions Director. It is at this meeting, usually held a few days prior to First Tech or the first Dry Tech, that the Designers inform the SM of where Cues should or will be called. The actual calls and timings may get moved around during Technical Rehearsals but it is at Paper Tech that all cues are agreed upon and designated
