A medium-base Edison socket encased in a rubber housing. Intended for use in temporary stringer lighting applications such as on construction sites. When wired to a male 2P&G connector and equipped with an incandescent bulb, it makes a simple, inexpensive, and dimmable circuit tester. Also, frequently wired in parallel in pairs to a 2P&G connector to make a fail-safe cue light.
