I am trying to put light cues from an expression lightboard into Qlab, as well as putting sound effects into the same Cue and I know I need to use the midi cue, has anyone done this if so was it difficult to do this? Also how would I do it?

QLab can output a midi code that is translated by the light board as a 'go' signal. So you can put light cues in QLab. Just not the free edition.

You can put MSC commands in QLab which can be used to trigger lighting cues in some other controller. It happens all the time.

Yes. I do it all the time. But that is not at all what the OP said. Hence the confusion. Is that what you would like to do, shakenblaken?

That's my idea of it yes, but how do you put MSC commands into the computer?
