Director wants to suspend "Uncle Fester" so he can bat the moon! And, we can't fly him. He only has to go up about 6' or 8'. I was thinking maybe a sort of teeter totter with actor counter balance with weights but hooking him up to the other end seems awfully complicated. Ideas as to easiest safe way to elevated him would be appreciated. Whatever is used would be painted black and he would be spot lit so hiding the works.

We used projections of Fester with his jet pack flying to the moon and a sparkle when he hits it. the Moon and Me- the projected moon disappeared behind clouds and re-appeared on stage as a lighted moon on a truck unit. he climbed up behind and used fake "legs" to perch on it, while the ancestors wheeled him around.

Another thought is a large inflated 'beach' ball lit with LEDs that can be batted.
