Recommended 12V Soldering Irons

Hello, any recommended 12V soldering irons to buy. Thank's.
Back in my days, the Wahl wasn't bad, quite good actually, but I've no idea if they're still marketed. Several of my associates were happy with their gas powered irons and found them useful for shrinking FIT tubing as well.

I find it's hard to control the temperature with my butane iron and often find I need a heavier gauge solder to keep from burning it into oblivion, but as mentioned above I do love it for shrink tubing. I keep the heat gun attachment on mine most of the time. It gives me more precise control when heat shrinking large bundles in mult breakouts and the like.

Can you use a standard iron and a 12v inverter? When I work on film sets we have 12v power supplies on our work carts for remote locations and I use an inverter when I need to kick up the juice. Assuming I can't get back to the truck and we don't have a generator.
