It was called "Pixel", by Adam Clarke. Can't find it in the Android Market just now.

Adam tells me it had gotten pulled from the Market for an invalid privacy notice, and he'll be reposting it shortly. When I have a link I'll post it.

He also says he has a iPhone version, but it's like $100 to put it up on their market... and the economics are all screwed up, because who it *benefits enough* to charge is venues, but *who's downloading it* (and hence would have to pay) is concert-goers. (Note that that's my evaluation, not Adam's.)

In an email reply to me, he clarified the addressing controls in the app (which are a bit unorthodox:

Section = universe... Aka E=5
Group = channel in groups of 3(rgb)... Aka 1=1 2=4 3=7

I have all the pieces to try this in my house, now, which I'll do sometime in the next week or two.
