Remote control wagon motor

I am trying to figure out how to get my circular platform to rotate: with a remote from the wings, quietly, and while carrying actors and scenery.

Any advice?

Take a look at the thread "revolve plans" that is sticky at the top of this forum. Also try some searching in the forum; there have been plenty of discussions.

Beyond that, if you can provide a lot more specifics in your question (dimensions, available machinery, wood vs. steel, etc) you'll get better guidance.

Perhaps an admin should change the title of that sticky so it's clearer what it contains?

I tried looking at the 'revolve plans' thread, but none of the links opened to anything. I'm not sure if it's too old or if it's an issue with my computer.

I don't have any specifics yet, I am in the preliminary design process. I am looking into options and budgeting, so I was just hoping to hear what other people have used in the past.

I've checked the links in the revolve thread and noted or removed the broken ones, there is still a functional link to the revolve plans zip file.
