So my 1700 died, I brought it in to our local Rosco dealer. Heat exchanger is pooched. They say they can repair it for about $570. 
What I said (OK, well, in my head) can't be repeated. So rather than throwing good money after an 8 year old fogger, would the recommendation be to get another 1700, or are there other suggestions for similarly featured units from other manufacturers?
