Verb (or noun). To return (or the return) to a previous state in time.
"Restore Q5." "Call the restore at the peak of the applause." "Standby spots to bump to black, followed by an almost immediate restore." "As soon as the curtain closes, restore the soda shop set."
Also can refer to the entire theatre in rep situations, e.g., "After we load out Wicked on Sunday night, we have to do a full restore."
