RGBHV

A type of connector/cable set-up used for transmitting VGA graphics. Typically found on high end and professional video gear. RGBHV gets its name from the fact that Red, Green, Blue, Horizontal Sync and Vertical Sync are all carried on separate coaxial wires, each with their own BNC plug. Often, break outs or break ins are needed to make RGBHV cable compatible with older equipment still utilizing DE-15F connectors for VGA signal.
