RIP Gordon Lightfoot

Lit several of his concerts in the NY-NJ-PA college circut thru the 70's & 80's.

I enjoyed him and his music.

Sucks getting old.

He was 84 and performing almost to the end. Mr Lightfoot had a long and productive career and was among the most gracious of performers. He'll be missed.

I got into folk about 1970. Gordon has been well listened to over the past 50 years, one of my top 3 favorite folk singers. I have almost all his collection and stayed up till 1 AM last night listening to him again. So much great stuff. Will be sadly missed, but I'll never stop listening.

Don't know exactly why, maybe a built-in appreciation of our nations's history (the better parts of it) industries, job market, the way people acted, but... I kind of sometimes wish I lived my life back then, instead of now...
