I am looking to compile some information on how roadhouse theatres handle touring productions and safety. Those of you that work in roadhouse situations likely come up against safety issues with touring clients, from “we always focus with no outriggers” from the touring Broadway shows, to “my dad made the cardboard sets and the home made pyro” with community shows.
I am going to leave this short survey, which is aimed at soft seat theatres, not arenas, open for a few weeks, then I will share the results. This is not aimed giving anyone new rules, just more to see how we are really interpreting the rules and working in our spaces.
