A buddy of mine have a Robin300 LEDWash that have a display that won't light up.
Does anyone have experience fixing those? "Battery faulty" or something like that ws the last thing they read on the display.
I thought the display should work fine while plugged in and it did not use the battery (there's a battery on the pcb on the back of the display) unless the power was off?
I checked the connections and did a continuity test from the dmx-input all the way to the display pcb, and it was fine. There also was a smal led lit up on the pcb.
Since I don't have the fixture in front of me right now and Robe doesn't answer my friends email that I asked him to send, that's all info I can give you at the moment.
Anybody have a solution? Is it just to change the battery (it seems to be a bit of work to change it cause it didn't come out easily and I didn't want to use any kind of force and break it of the pcb since its not my fixture).
