I want to do some architectural lighting in an auditorium with a S4WRD with 14 degree lens tube. Throws are in the 86-88 foot range. Looking for flat field with a "soft" shutter cut edge. Has anyone come close to that geometry to know how the shutter cuts look? I assume no odd color stuff. Might look at a light frost but was hoping I could just run barrel a little to defocus edges.
One of those here's a couple of ideas for that and this is not one of the ones I expected to have traction. However, at least it will not highlight bad drywall work.
