Is there some way to create an Express show file on a computer and save it to a floppy, as you could with an EOS series console? How would you make this work?

There is/was an offline editor for the Express line. You could create or edit a show with it, pretty much anything you could do on the console except actually run a show. I have no idea if it's still available anywhere, or will even run on a modern computer.

It works on Windows 7 just fine. All you need is a good floppy that the Expression likes and your in business.
