Each year, more than 1,000 early career theatre artists, technicians
and professionals, nationally and internationally, compete for two
dozen positions. STC’s interns and fellows commit to full-time
schedules, working alongside some of the most renowned artists and
professionals in the world to produce and support the entire mainstage
season. Alumni have gone on to work and study at prestigious
institutions such as Arena Stage, Playwrights Horizons, Yale School of
Drama, Signature Theatre Company, The Goodman Theatre, New York City
Opera and The Kennedy Center, while many have joined STC as full-time
staff members.
Interns and fellows receive $150 a week to defray the cost of living
expenses and fully-furnished, rent-free housing is provided for all
out-of-town interns and fellows.
