I have been running sound for a little over 2 years now, and i want to get more into the design and all the fancy stuff you can do. i know the basics (trim, pan, subs n stuff) but not a whole lot about eq's and other stuff like that. can any one recomend a good book to help me learn?

Thanks in advance

Yamaha Sound Reinforcement Handbook. Good for pros, good for newbies, and good for everyone in between.

If you're looking for sound info, you could always go to the (yeesh) Mackie web site and download their manuals. I'll reserve any further opinion about their gear and say that their manuals are written like textbooks, and they're pretty entertaining as well.
