Wow, this thread has come back to life after almost 5 years and so much has changed!

The Strand SL (rest in peace) was laid to rest several years ago, replaced by Philips' Acclaim and SPX product line, as well as the Selecon offerings.

Having re-read my last posting within this thread, I wouldn't change a word of it...

While the SL line was laid to rest, it was replaced in the Strand line with the newest version of the LEKO. The Acclaim, SPX, and Pacific are also available.
