Barco is listed as a USA manufacturer, that's not completly true:

Barco established in Poperinge, Belgium by Lucien De Puydt in 1934. The company then specializes in the assembly of radios with parts from the United States. Hence the name, "Belgian American Radio Corporation" or Barco.

In 2008 Barco acquires Texas-based High End Systems, Inc., a global technology provider of automated luminaires, digital lighting and lighting controls. With the merging of two strong industry players, this acquisition reinforces Barco’s leadership position in the fast converging video and lighting segments.

Another point,
While Siemens is on the list of non-us manufacturers of lighting control, Siemens consoles are branded ADB - Siemens, ADB is the leader...

ADB, originally founded in Belgium in 1920 by Adrien De Backer, operated as a family business until 1987 when it was acquired by the SIEMENS Group.
At that time ADB had already pioneered some of the key technologies used in stage & studio lighting, such as digital dimmers, memory control systems, condenser optics for theatre spotlights... and was strongly established as a leading broadline manufacturer with facilities in Belgium and France, and a sales subsidiary in Germany. In the nineteen-thirties, ADB successfully manufactured rheostat control equipment and Luminaires, which were mainly applied in theatre, opera and cinema lighting. The lights of ADB lit a large number of stages … ADB has an outstanding reputation in Belgium and Germany, and a lot (perhaps the majority) of theaters with mainly conventionals overhere use/used ADB for their installs. Allthough MA and ETC are gaining field.

In December 2002, as the result of a management buy-out, Christian Léonard, then General Manager of ADB-TTV France, backed up by a group of private and institutional investors, took over control of the whole ADB-TTV Group.

So ADB paired up with TTV now

Martin is listed as a Belgium company. Their website shows them as a Danish company, wholly owned by another Danish company. The possible confusion, could come from the fact that as Martin has moved from a DJ quality company, to a professional entertainment company, they have hired the best people available, and allowed them to live and work where they currently resided at the time of employment. One of those is Mats Karlsson who was previously with Barco, in Belgium. Mats is Swedish born, but chose to remain in Belgium, and in my humble opinion, probably the most intelligent man in the lighting business.

In addition to your comment:

The recent Martin console development is done in Belgium by R&D International nv. A small company (something like 15 people) but highly specialised. Martin has partnered with R&D International on the development of lighting controllers and media servers since 1995. Martin recently acquired R&D Int.

R&D International NV was founded in 1989 as an electronics and software development company, specializing in the automated control of intelligent lights. The company’s product developments include CoLiPro, CASE lighting controllers, the Maxxyz lighting controller and the Maxxyz Compact. R&D International pioneered the media server with its Eureka product in 1999 prior to developing the Maxedia media server product line. R&D International has also developed several smaller lighting controllers and peripherals and has been involved with initiatives for local museums. R&D International is located in Landen, Belgium
