Control/Dimming Strand GSX

We currently have a strand gsx lighting console on loan from a lighting hire company while our other desk is away.

When we booted it up it said it had only 75 channels, and our rig has more than 75 dimmers. Anyone know where i could find the password for the 125channel upgrade, i know its frowned upon normally but this desk is more than well out of circulation.

They don't exist. At least there's not a public one that will get you what you want. They were based upon an algorithm that needed the Serial number of the console to be generated.

So you're not going to get one.... Sorry...

Call Strand. If you can't get it from them, time to cut down on some channels.

Althought you only have 75 channels available to you, you have the ability to have up to 512 dimmers. They just have to be patched to those first 75 channels. This should be possible for most small theater work.

Basic patch. You don't need 75 channels. 48 will do fine.
