I'm trying to buy a wireless intercom system and I was wondering if anyone has either of the HME 200 or Telex BTR 24 systems and can let me know what they are like.
One sound company I work with use Telex but I don't know the model. It works fine, light weight and seems to be fairly durable. The industry standard seems to be ClearComm or compatable. They make good systems but can be pricey. Telex doesn't seem to be compatable with other systems.
I cant say I have used either in earnest. I have played with the HME a little and it is pretty solid and reliable but failry basic having evolved from the headsets they use at Drive thru's but it should be pretty robust as a result.
Not wishing to complicated the issue but have you also looked at the Clearcom 2.4 system?
