The rise and fall of stage curtains...

In the winter, our travelers "shrink" and rise four or five inches above the stage floor (due to low humidity.) In the spring & summer they drop back down. Is there an easy way to adjust their length depending on the season?

Maybe? It will all depend on how they are hung. You would need someone to actually be in the building and look things over to make a determination like that.

It all depends on how they are hung. Turnbuckles can easily be added to trim things throughout the year. Might be worth while to pick up a dehumidifier as well to run in the summer.

Thanks. Since they aren't counterweighted, we're talking about going up and down a lot with the genie! Turnbuckles sound like a good option.

The reason I suggested adjusting the chains at hangers rather than on the entire track was fewer trips and never messing with a load at a single point of failure. Moving 6-8 turnbuckles 6" (wow) twice a year seemed like a PITA.

If it's a up or down condition, you could do a Velcro held on tall hem piece or dust ruffle.
