Our theater went from the software I wrote for them to Vendini in the interest of getting better reporting and customer engagement. That Vendini certainly has. You can get reports on just about any aspect of who bought what, when, and how. The
system will
send out confirmation notices and reminders of upcoming attendance. The web site for online ordering is complete.
This does not come without a price. We are a 126 seat theater, running a regional 6 show season and budget for a close to 80%
house fill. Next year's budget includes a $15,000
line item for Vendini fees. We are raising the online "convenience" fee to $3 to defer as much of that as we can.
You'll have to decide if your patrons and board will be happy with that, but you will get a top shelf
system.
