I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to replicate bales of (cured) tobacco?
After gathering a number of images, I'm currently thinking of adhering layers of thin, shredded, dyed/painted cloth to the exterior of a cardboard box; applied in such a way as to mimic the tobacco texture. I'd probably experiment with paint spraying to add detail as well.
No idea if this is a worth while approach, but I might give it a shot.
This is the look I am shooting for (first image on the top of the page):

Does anyone have any other ideas on how I might approach this?
Thanks.
