Tonalite Lighting Console Development Videos

Happy New Year everyone!

I recently started rebuilding my network-based lighting controller Tonalite from the ground-up so I can make it faster and have more industry-standard features. During development, I decided that it might be interesting to some people to learn how a lighting console works internally so I'm going to be recording development logs of the process and posting them on the project's YouTube channel. If you are interested, you can watch the videos here as I upload them: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3b7t9J6IPBUmqsjXM3VLkQ

If you don't know what Tonalite is, it is an entirely network-based lighting controller that can be accessed by any device with a web browser either wired or wireless. It is a tracking console (but it also has cue-only cues), supports up to 4 universes of DMX (over ArtNet, sACN, ShowNet. ESP Net, and Pathport), has a fixture layout grid, and it has full multi-user and blind support in real-time among other features. I originally developed it so that I wouldn't have to be tethered to the booth on smaller shows when I was the only lighting technician, but I feel that it might be especially useful now in this time of social distancing. I hope you enjoy!

A couple work in progress pictures of the new user interface, subject to change at any time:
