I can't find the Trace key on the Ion, where is it? I don't see it in softkeys, is it buried somewhere in the buttons by the CIA? Help! Otherwise I have to manually edit a wash out of 56 cues!
So [Update] {Trace} will look back up the cue stack from your currentcue and apply the change at the cue where the channel(s) got their current settings.

Well, you wouldn't necessarily have to edit out the washes manually from those cues. Trace is a form of tracking. Even if the console is in Cue Only mode, you could make the same change by going to the first cue and "Update - Track" Or if you are in Tracking mode and want to limit the cues the change is made to "Update- Qx- Thru- Qz- Cue Only" will only change that range of cues. In Tracking, note that you should Cue Only your Trace if you don't want the change to continue in following cues as Tracking will mean the change goes forward as well. Cue Only modifies it to stop the change at the cue being updated.
