Conventional Fixtures Triple cell cyc lights

I'm using colortran triple cell cyc lights and I wanted to know if on the gel frames, the color gel goes on the inside and the the safety screen goes on the outside or if it should be reversed. Thank you!

I don't think the safety screens going to do much good facing inwards hahaha

Safety screen isn't to keep gel from falling but to keep glass from falling if the lamp should explode. And the gel from touching the lamp.

If the light is facing down I keep the screen towards the lamp, and if it's facing up towards the outside. It helps keep the gel from burning into the screen.

Correct. Lamp --> safety screen --> gel.
