True1 <--> PowerCon converters?

Very roughly, stiffness is going to be the amount to which artifacts and anomalies at the far end of a circuit are visible at the main switch/service, or even further back into Distribution, and the major component is, I think, indeed going to be the inherent inductive impedance of the building distribution wiring.

I'd actually never heard the term before, but there's an intuitive feel for what it means and how you get it, for me at least.

Think of the building wiring as a ferroresonant transformer, unwound, and you'll get the idea.
