We have a ton of money to buy gear. 134 Lustre II's with assorted lenses, 52 Desire D60's, 24 ColorSource Pars, 6 ColorForce II 72's, 24 12" versions, a bunch of Elation units LED profiles and LED ML washes.
The Dormitory Authority of the State of NY is the purchasing agent and is having some issues transcribing what's in an Excel speadsheet to the actual bid requests. Cut and paste doesn't work on their computers or they are doing it from home on their iPhones with auto correct enabled. Thus we get this;
'Stage Cable, 12/3, 600V, 2P&G, - Should have a left length plug power cable Con Ed Male plug (Grainger Part No. 4A250)"
We asked for;
'6ft. length PowerCon cable with male Edison plug, 5-15, Grainger item 4A250 or equal"
I'm not complaining, just find it funny and the likely vendor is good and knows what we want. I think.
