Uplighting & Conventional PARs

re: Uplighting & Conventional PARs

Thanks Bill, we are making a decision today and will be calling you to place the order, sounds like a great package.

FYI - We just do social events & weddings not production(I think I put that in my intro and thought profile) but this will be just used to uplight walls etc at social events and weddings. Thanks for the replies!

re: Uplighting & Conventional PARs

So for up lighting a standard wall - Hotel Wall etc. Would a Par 38 work or would a Par 64 work better in your opinion? Also What bulb would you recommend we like to have Wash/Beam up the wall spaced every 8 feet or so.

If it is a standard catering hall wall <12' a 75 or 90 watt halogen lamp will do the job nicely. They are available in both 10 and 30 degree beam spreads. Personally I like using the 10 degree as it creates columns.

The problem with Par 64's is the smallest lamp is 500w and power rapidly becomes a problem.
