I decided to used 4 soundlab G017S DMX Colourscan's for a village hall amateur production production as well as fixed lamps - wanting to take advantage of DMX heads (even though using the cheap end).
These have been used a little for mobile disco since I got them
and is OK as there are no quiet moments - for the amateur production the Courscans sit in wait mode for large period of time and there is a 'too' loud 15K tone that appears to be from the switch mode power supply.
I contacted the UK distibutor who said that the only issues they had experienced was fan noise. Don't seem to add up any ideas?
