Vector Works Question

So, as I am trying to figure out certain things in VW I am perplexed at trying to do some measurements. I am making a polyline in the shape of how I want a piece of pipe to be bent. After creating the polyline in that unique shape I want to notate the radius of the bends and the total length of each arch. Every time I use the tool on the polyline to get the arch length of the bend it wont allow me to do so, it keeps giving me this is for arches only error. When I try to get the angle it keeps giving me a constraint is not valid error. This was way easier in Auto CAD.
