But! it may be worth mentioning that later packs used DMX512
as well as their own digital protocol
, Ultraplex, limited to 32 channels per stream.
ETA (of Twinsburg, OH) in its time, was a very good 2nd tier manufacturer (think lightronics or CAE/Leprecon
), and their equipment lives on and on. They got out of the dimmer
business entirely in the 1990s and today only make power-conditioning equipment. A search yields lots of information on here.
