As a sophmore in a conservatory program which only lets upperclassmen design I will be co-designing the spring dance recital!!

I'm quite excited and a little bit nervous about this. It will be a change to light real dance and not hiphop dance. Guess I will be prying open Shelly's practical guide to stage lighting over break!

Some general hints: remember dance= a lot of side lights, that means dance booms, pipe ends, maybe some goboed units. Try to come up with a list of contrasting colors while you are at that and maybe a few goboes you may want to use.
