    A measure of electrical power. Watts are equal to [[volts]] multiplied by [[amps]]. W=VA
    A common misconception is that watts are an indication of how bright a lamp is, but this is not true. It is only a measure of power used to light the lamp. Lumens are used to measure how bright a lamp is.
