Weekend work - Chicago

Looking for event technicians. Mostly weddings and other social events, mostly Saturdays, and not regular, but I'm looking for a couple reliable technicians.

I HAVE NEED FOR A COUPLE PEOPLE ON SATURDAY, 09/19 ALREADY.

Most events are in Chicago, mostly within 5 miles of the Sears/Willis Tower.

Job is basically, meet at the venue, unload the truck, push into the room, set up, return at the end of the event. Able to work neatly and efficiently, and semi-independently. Able to lift tall buildings (50# or so).

And before you suggest, Crewsource is out of business, Chicago Labor is already on my list, the Offstage Jobs site is down, and BEN is also down.

Have you contacted Chicago Stagehand? I worked for them while I was still freelance in Chicago. Dave is a good guy and a majority of the hands I worked with were solid and experienced.

Already on Chicago Stagehand. I have this weekend covered, but thanks for the League referral.

I heard from a couple others who worked at Crewsource they were defunct, so I wonder who is taking up the slack. I don't know if Chgo. Stagehand has picked up any of their clients or hands.
