My college had huge catalogs of old magazines. Anyone know of a college that has a theatre program that also has some pull in the library? Most theatre programs at schools that I've known of care more about science and sports than art and theatre and couldn't be bothered to give theatre a shelf of reference material.

I also wonder if the internet archive accepts physical goods to scan and archive.

BTW, have you seen the prices at Ebay?

I have a friend who spent 30 years in the pet biz, almost all of it with fish, aquariums, and other wet things. He accumulated 30 years worth of trade publications (some of which he wrote for). When he bailed out of the icthyoid biz, he tried to give away that accumulation and nobody wanted it. Not even parts. I think he saved the issues with his columns and the rest became attic insulation.

I hope your theater pubs collection does not meet the same fate.
