Wireless What Wireless Do You Use?

Audio Technica's 2000 and 3000 series road cased in single unit systems, two unit and four unit systems for rentals.

All of our venues use Shure UHF-R.
Handhelds are a Beta 87A or SM58, bodypacks are a Beta 53.

Shure ULX all the way... i have worked with sennheiser and AKG and would gladly take a shure any day.

10 - ew-100's - 500mhz
10 - ew-100's - 600mhz
10 - ew-100's - 700mhz

I have actually found the point source headset's (co-5's) to be a great alternative ($$)to the countryman, especially for high/middle school shows... Unfortunately, I have 10- 700's that will make great paperweights in the near future... any ideas???

Unfortunately you will be out of luck when commercial devices start hitting the market that use 700 MHZ range, being as that it will be illegal to interfere them (should anyone raise a fuss).

In the mean time though, I would suggest looking at the 3000 series, if your budget allows. The 3732 can tune down to 480 MHZ and is not locked into any specific bank. Also, I know sennehiser has a utility for PC's that can help you figure out how to tune your units, and should enable you put more units in both of your existing ranges. I know that the 550 unit comes programed with 20 presets per bank.
