What's the shelf life for them? Melting wise?
It depends upon the artwork and the
fixture, Amiers. We have a list of tested and approved lighting fixtures on our website, and as can be expected- a 20W
LED produces much less heat than a 230W source. An open spider web
gobo will
trap less heat than a 1/4" aperture
gobo, so artwork affects longevity.
All the same standard patterns from glass and metal?
Yes, within reason of course. A 9mm
image area doesn't allow much artwork detail as a 66mm
image area of a B size
gobo. The larger diameter the
image area, the better.
