Wiring for a new board

There should be no need to disconnect them. pins 4 &5 are for reporting only--some systems do it and some do not and there usually is no interference or problem.

Depending on what the signal coming back is. (DMX or just a voltage?) you may want to make up and interface to an idiot light on the wall to dislay the overheat signal . . . . if you have it, why not use it?

Good point, im not sure what the signal is, but i'll look into it. Thanks for the idea.
