WTB Single PA speaker Powered or non powered

I am currently look for a single PA speaker for use in an upcoming show, Its going to be used for spacial direction of audio (can't get into specifics but think "Don't Drink the water" crowd outside the window)

It can be either powered or un-powered budget is really small about $100 with shipping.

That wouldn't be suitable in my situation. The reason we would like a semi-professional speaker is because of the distribution radius. Plus consumer level tech tend to crap out when needed.

You are probably going to want to look locally since shipping will likely kill off your purchse (speakers aren't light). Do you have a music shop that sells DJ gear? I'm sure that your rental options are limited in your location, but maybe you could even find a mobile DJ that you could rent from. Hotel AV would also be good, but probably much too expensive.

I talked with the director and he said we could spend up to $100 before shipping, he will cover shipping himself so i guess that boosts up what I can look at.
