XLR stuck in console

I have a problem that I don't know if it's easily fixable. I have an XLR connector stuck in one of my inputs on my Yamaha M7, is there anyway to remove it without removing the whole back panel

The inputs on the M7CL are a standard XLRF with a release tab that sticks out from the panel. Unless the connector and tab have been pushed back into the mixer t would seem that just about anything that might help could be done from the outside, including possibly taking apart the connector that is stuck.

I have a patented method for this problem.
It will cost you $1.
All you need is a small flat blade jeweler's screwdriver, lightly get under the release tab push up and wiggle slightly side to side.
This is a very common occurrence with newer CBI snakes.
