Yesterday's cable run

We're just finishing up an a large multi room home entertainment system job. One of the tasks yesterday was to install a new XM antenna on the roof and cable it to the tuner/receiver in the living room.

From the chimney, the cable ran across about 15' of roof and into a vent in the attic. There the cable went throught the attic floor into a broom closet on the first floor of the house. Then through the floor of the broom closet into the dropped ceiling of a basement bathroom. The cable then traveled across the ceiling of the basement and into the garage where it went back up throught the ceiling into a kitchen cabinet. From there is was out of the back of the cabinet along the floor to the tuner/receiver.

It took about 260' of wire to connect the antenna to the receiver which were physically only about 25' apart.
