I thought it a handy reference to have a list of common abbreviations from the industry. Seen quite a few times when people seemed a little confused by some.

AD - Artistic Director or Assistant to the Director
ASM - Assistant Stage Manager
ATD - Assistant to the Technical Director (or Apprentice Tech. Director)
B
B/O - BlackOut
C
CL - Centre line
E
ESTA - Entertainment Services & Technology Association, merged with PLASA
ETCP - Entertainment Technician Certification Program
elec. - Electric, a lighting position
F
F/B - Fade to Black
F/B - Foldback
FoH - Front-of-House
L
LD - Lighting Designer
Lx - Lighting Effect, or Lighting Position (on lighting paperwork)
O
O/W - Open White (or N/C), no colour in a light.
N
N/C - No Colour (no gel etc in a light)
NFG - No $%@# Good, some people seem to like to mark damaged equipment with this. Not a very professional method.

SR - Stage Left (Actor's Right, While Facing Audience)
US - Up Stage (Towards rear of stage)
USL - Up Stage Left
USR - Up Stage Right
MSR - Mid Stage Right
DSRR / DSFR - Downstage Right Right or Downstage Far Right (I prefer DSRR, mostly because it can become DSRRR on Really Big Stages)
