Park

A feature on many lighting consoles that holds a channel's level even if the cue changes. The channel's level can only be changed by directly addressing the channel through the command line and/or by going to the "Park" screen of the console.

Can also be used with a dimmer, or any controlled parameter. Say during a show a moving light goes wacky, and you just want it to go out and never come back on? Park the fixture's intensity channel at zero. Or if you never want a moving light to change focus? Park the pan and tilt channels at the appropriate values.
